About the event

Four plays, selected from hundreds of submissions to the Premiere Stages Play Festival, are given professional readings and will be considered for expanded development as part of the Premiere Stages 2014 season. Evaluation forms are distributed and patrons are encouraged to participate in post-reading dialogues with the writers. The readings provide a unique opportunity to see four plays in a developmental forum, make suggestions and recommendations to the playwrights, and help support the creation of new works for the stage. Audience feedback will be considered seriously by the selection panel as they choose the winner. Be part of the process!
